Strawberry Cobbler
Topping:
3 C. recent strawberries, washed and cut
3/4 C. sugar
1 tsp. juice
Base:
1 C. self rising flour
1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. milk
1/2 C. fusible butter
Combine the strawberries, sugar and juice, set aside. mix the flour and sugar, stir within the remaining ingredients. Pour the bottom into a a pair of quarts lighly buttered casserole dish. unfold around to hide then high by spooning the strawberries over the bottom. don't stir, place in an exceedingly 375 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
