Savory Chicken Stew





Savory fricassee 


2 deformity and four thighs, cooked and cut
2 T. butter
1 T. olive oil
1 med. onion, chopped
2 carrots, in the raw and cut
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 C. stock
28 oz. crushed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. smoke-dried paprika
1 bay leaf
14 oz. will garbanzo beans, drained

In a dutch kitchen appliance over MEd. high heat add the butter and vegetable oil and warmth till butter is unfrozen. Add within the onions, carrots and celery, cook for 5-6 minutes, add within the garlic and cook for one minute. Add the broth and crushed tomatoes, stir to mix well. Add within the seasonings, cowl and cook over MEd. low heat for half-hour. take away the herb and stir within the beans and chicken, cook for an extra 5-6 minutes to heat the chicken and beans. 

Toasted griddlecake Strips


3 8" flour tortillas
olive oil
chili powder
salt and pepper

Stack the tortillas on prime of every different, employing a pizza pie cutter cut them into one/2" strips the cut them within the different direction into 1 1/2" items. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with somewhat vegetable oil and sprinkle with flavoring, salt and pepper. Toss to coat, bake at 350 degrees for six minutes, take away and toss them around within the pan, come back to the kitchen appliance for 6-7 minutes longer or till crisp.
