Orange Cake


INGREDIENTS:
CAKE
1 one/2 cups general flour / flour
2 cups refined sugar / powdered sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
4 eggs
2 tsp pure orange extract
1 tsp grated orange rind
FROSTING
1 (8-ounce) package cheese, softened
4 Tbsp softened butter
1 (1-pound) box confectioners' sugar / powdered sugar
2 Tbsp orange rind
2 Tbsp fruit crush



DIRECTIONS:
*Preheat kitchen appliance to 350 degrees F. 
*Grease a nine x thirteen pan.
TO MAKE THE CAKE
*Stir along flour, refined sugar, and salt in an exceedingly bowl. 
*Add butter, eggs, orange extract, and orange rind. 
*Using a hand-held mixer, beat till well integrated. 
*Pour batter into ready pan and bake for half-hour, or till lightweight golden brown and set. 
*Remove from kitchen appliance, enable to cool down.
TO MAKE THE topping
*In an outsized bowl, whip the butter and cheese beside a hand-held mixer. 
*Gradually hammer in the confectioners' sugar till it's all combined and sleek. 
*Beat within the orange rind and fruit crush. 
*Spread over cake and withdraw squares.
